I see a lot of people get concerned about the holiday season with regard to eating and weight loss.
“It’s so hard with everything that goes on. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, holiday parties, holiday baking, treats at the office, treats at home, leftovers, etc…”
This is all true. But it’s also true at any other time of year too.
๐ช๐ถ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ/๐ฆ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด: Easter, St Patty’s Day, Valentine’s Day Memorial Day, birthdays, and graduations.
๐ฆ๐๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ฟ: July 4th, barbecues, bonfires, birthdays, eating out on the restaurant patio, and vacations.
๐๐ฎ๐น๐น: Halloween, tailgating, cider mills, donuts, pie, back-to-school parties, birthdays, and football weekends.
The same distractions and temptations now are the same at any other time of year.

Since the New Year is right around the corner, people are more likely to completely give up the reins for these last few weeks. The reality is that Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are not responsible for much (if any) of your weight gain this time of year. That’s only three days out of at least 45 we attribute to the “holiday season.”

If you truly want to stop worrying about putting on weight during the holiday season, then recognize that it’s the decision to wait until after the New Year to care that ultimately ruins you.
